Guitar Hero IV

O.k, so theres a new game coming out called Guitar Hero IV. No its not the Aerosmith or Metallica Version. Its a brand new one. The game is basically the same as all the other Guitar Hero games but with some new added features. One of these new features involves creating your own song with which is rumored to be a brand new 10 fret guitar. Yes it's true, the guitar will have 10 frets that will be used during game play. Unlike the extra five frets on the Rock Band controllers, the new extra five frets will be used as different notes. Picture on the right.
There is also a new drum set and vocals. You can also make your own custom guy.

Piano Man

Piano man is probably one of the best songs ever created. It not only has great lyrics but it has an amazing piano intro and solo. If you think otherwise than email me and tell me what makes it not so great.

Bypassing Fortiguard

Tired of not being able to go on to myspace or youtube or any other site at school? This will tell you how to bypass the system. First of all you will need to have a G.ho.st account or at any virtual computer site that hasn't been blocked (www.youos.com usually works well). Virtual computers are kinda like a mobile computer that is non-downloadable and can be accessed from any computer. Next, after you have your account go on to the virtual computer's browser and make sure its on a proxy. There should be something on it that will let you switch between proxy and a regular browser. After you have the proxy server on type the url of the site in the address bar and the website should pop up. And thats it. The virtual computer also works good as a flash drive. Phone or Handheld Game system

One of the bigger announcements at the Steve Job's keynote presentation today was the new App Store—a native application on the iPhone that will allow users to purchase, download and install third-party software for their phones. It's the only place iPhone owners can get the software, and most of the keynote today was dedicated to highlighting programs already created using the software developers kit.

Programs ranged from a Major League Baseball app that tracks scores and shows video replays to a tool for doctors that stitches MRI and CAT Scan images together. But most offerings were games.

Pangea Software—which has been developing games for the Mac for years—showed a physics-based puzzle called Enigmo that is completely touch-based. It also showed an iPhone version of Cromag Rally, a racing game played by tilting the iPhone to activate its accelerometer, thereby moving characters around the race track.

Spain-based Digital Legends Entertainment showed a 3-D adventure game called Kroll, which uses the phone's accelerometer for controlling the character. And Sega showed an iPhone version of their game Super Monkey Ball that requires players to tilt the phone to move the monkeys around the game board.

With all the great apps that are possible for the iPhone, you have to wonder why so many of those highlighted today were games. With the SDK and App Store launching in early July, is Apple planning to take on Nintendo and Sony for mobile gaming? Heck, the iPhone has already got more features then my DS Lite . . .

Halothra

To those unaware of what Halothra means. Halothra( Hey-la-thra ) is what my friends ( yes, i have friends) call Halo 3. It originated at my house when I first played Halo 3. It has very significant meaning in my household. To some it means "Oh no, they'll be playing that all day" and to others it means a time of relaxation and to "pwn some noobs"( not in my words).
